Fen mostly keeps to himself until he is approached first. He's a slow talker and isn't very good with words, but he'll try his best to make conversation. His best and favourite way to bond is through action and activity.
While he mostly acts like a lone wolf, in reality Fen really hates being alone. He's got a bit of an issue with abandonment and isolation. He easily gets stressed if his close friends are AWOL for too long.
Story
After his father foolishly attempted to slay a deity, a curse was cast on poor 2-year old Fen, who began developing Dragonsnake features at the age of 12. He became feared by others due to his accursed status, losing his ability to make friends in the process. Then his mother perished in a home fire when he was away running errands, causing him to become homeless at just the age of 18. He ran away from the village with just a few items he'd salvaged, and never looked back.
Despite his somewhat terrible childhood, Fen managed to keep his head up for a while. He's still generally really reserved and doesn't enjoy socializing for too long, but he's open to making new friends, so long as that supposed new friend isn't actively trying to kill him.
